Gass, sixty-nine, Rothsville, died at 5:25 p.m. Friday at General Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks after a long illness. He was born in Warwick Twp., a son of the late Aaron and Emma Leisey Gass, and was a lifelong resident of the Rothsville area. He was employed in the shipping department of Armstrong Cork Co. for 32 years until his retirement four years ago. A World War I Army veteran, he was a member of Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church, Rothsville. Survivors include his wife, Carrie Becker Gass; a daughter, Sylvia, wife of Leroy H. Martzall, Reinholds; a son, William A., Ephrata; 10 grandchildren and a sister, Anna, wife of John W. Myer, Leola R1."
