    Anna Maria Geissinger Birth: Sep. 17, 1711, Germany Death: Mar. 29, 1779 Anna Maria was born 17 Sept 1711 in Germany. She likely emigrated with her parents to Pennsylvania. Anna Maria married Philip Geissinger about 1730. Together they were the parents of 11 children: Philip, Jacob, Anna, Henry, John, Daniel, Samuel, Elizabeth, David and Barbara. Their son David died young and the rest of their children grew to adulthood. Under the Security Act of 1778, 3 of their sons' families had all of their livestock, grain, farm equipment, and household belongings seized and auctioned by the army because it was against their Mennonite religion to take the oath of Allegiance. Anna Maria died the following Spring. Anna Maria was buried in 1779 in the Saucon Mennonite Church Cemetery. Her husband Philip later joined her there in 1791.
