[29812-stoever.FTW] FLAG This person's connection to this COUNTS.GED has yet to be confirmed. 2-01 [John] (Johannes) CUNTZE, at age 8, immigrated to Germanna, VA in 1714 with father, 1-01 [Jost] Joseph CUNTZE and family. His Mother died enroute or shortly after arrival to Germana, VA. Johannes CUNTZE married Anna Elisabetha [Catherine] STOEVER on 25 JUN 1728 in Earltown, PA and may have returned to GERMANY and returned again to Philadelphia, PA on 30 NOV 1730 on ship "Joyce" at age 24. Ship's Master was Captain Atilliam FORD of Boston. He may have lived awhile in Northern VA, about thirty miles from brothers, Henry in Southern PA and Tillman in Western MD. [Not verified to be same person as our Johannes [John] COUNTS, but our Johannes [John] COUNTS would also have been 24 years old in 1730 ]. It is possible that he is the same John COUNTS, [Johannes KOUTZ] granted 350 acres of land in SC in 1751. If our John COUNTS, he would have been age 44 in 1751.
