Abraham Herr ( d. by 1725 ) married the second time to Feronica Musselman, Peter Musselman's sister, who secondly married Joseph Gochenauer. Abraham and Feronica had two sons, David (15) and Samuel (5), Who were not included in their proper places in the 1908 edition. Abraham Herr received a patent (A-5-358) on November 30, 1717, for six hundred acres in what is now Lancaster Twp., (Deeds D-375; S-2-62; C-3-633, 641; L-3-583; M-3-542). This land was divided among sons Abraham (9), Rudy (10), and Christian (11). On October 12, 1719, Abraham Herr and his brother, Hans Herr (4), petitioned James Steel for a grant of four hundred acres for their brother, Isaac Herr, who recently arrived (Taylor Papers). Before Abraham's death but probably in the 1720s, according to estimates of architecual historians, he built a house that still stands at 25 Bentley Lane in Lancaster Township near Millersville on land that went to his son, Rudy Herr (Letters of Admin- istration, December 16, 1725, Chester County estate, no. 200). --------------------------------------------------------------------- ----- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- ------------------------
