PIKEVILLE Funeral service Friday at 11:00 AM at Bass-Jones-Hines Cemetery, 450 Perkins Mill Road, Rosewood. There will be a time to share with the family at the graveside and other times 1170 Capps Bridge Road, Pikeville. Surviving, daughter, Janet M. Woodard of Rosewood, son and daughter-in-law David B. & Tammy Woodard of Pikeville. Two grandchildren Sarah Brooke and David Brian Woodard, Jr. Sisters Katherine W. Raper of Raleigh and Elizabeth W. Bowden of Kennesaw, GA. Mr. Woodard a native of Raleigh and was preceded in death by his wife Carole Bass Woodard, siblings, William Henry "Billy" Woodard, Margaret Blacknall Woodard and John Ousby "Pete" Woodard. He was a member of Pike’s Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness Church, and the Jesse S. Barnes Camp of The Sons of the Confederate Veterans.
