OXFORD -- Armistead Ralph Burwell, age 54, a resident of Ashburn, Va., died Thursday in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was a member of Peace's Chapel Baptist Church and was a commercial realtor. Q Funeral services will be held Monday, January 19, 2009, at 11 a.m. in Rehoboth United Methodist Church. The body will lie in the state from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving is one sister, June Burwell Bulow; and one brother, Spottswood "Spott" Burwell.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 18, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Gentry-Newell and Vaughan funeral Home in Oxford.
