Abilene News:

Aspermont - Elcie Hine, 66, of Aspermont died about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at
Stamford Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 4 pm. Thursday at First Baptist
Church.

The Rev. Tom Riddle, pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. James Woods.
Burial will be in Aspermont Cemetery directed by McCoy Funeral Home of
Aspermont.

Born Elcie Burge June 6, 1910, in Texas, she married Jack Hine Oct., 6, 1928, at
Haskell. She had lived in Aspermont for the past 44 years. Mrs. Hine was a
member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Arvel McCoy, Jr. of Aspermont; a sister, Ruby
Peterson of Aspermont; two brothers, Garland Burge and Jack Burge, both of Midland,
two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Harold McNutt,
Deryl Lawrence, Ray King, Alfred Rogers, James Kolb, and Wayne Thigpin.
