    Deceased Name: Mamie Glover Mitchell
    LOUISBURG -- Mamie G. Mitchell, 95, of 383 Rocky Ford Road, Ingleside Community, died Tuesday morning at the home of her daugh- ter. She was a native of Halifax County and the daughter of the late William Thomas and Dora Harris Glover. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Frank Mitchell Sr.
    She was a homemaker, and a member of Plank Chapel United Methodist Church where she was church pianist for may years. She was a charter member of the Community Garden Club that was founded in 1944.
    Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Plank Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
    Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her daughter, Mary Mitchell Murphy of Louisburg; sons, and daughters-in- law, James Edwin and Joyce Mitchell of Raleigh, Sidney Earl and Ra- chel Mitchell of Lawrenceville, GA, William F. Mitchell of Wilson; grandchildren, Patricia Will of San- ford, Eddie Mitchell of New Bern, Byron Mitchell, Alan Mitchell and Dwayne Mitchell, all of Raleigh, Jeff Mitchell of Snellville, GA, Bradley Mitchell of Lawrenceville, GA, Lisa Broitman of Kensington, MD; 12 great-grandchildren.
    The family will receive friends immediately following the burial in the church fellowship hall, and other times at the home.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Plank Chapel United Methodist Church In care of Mrs. Donald Rose McGhee, 327 Rocky Ford Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
