      Lonnie Donnell of Miami, Oklahoma passed away on Monday May 7, 2012 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He was 77.

      He was born in Hockerville, Oklahoma on October 8, 1934 to Clarence and Tabitha (Huffman) Donnell. He was a mechanic for 34 years and worked for Kissee Motors, and also worked at Wal-Mart. He loved rebuilding his car and loved to fish. He was of the Assembly of God faith. For 60 years he’s been married to Shirley (Neal), they were married on December 21, 1951 in Bentonville, Arkansas, she survives of the home.































































































































































































      He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Bill Donnell and Harold Donnell, and one sister Lauren.


      He is survived by three sons Randy Donnell of Miami, Okla., Curt Donnell and wife Vicki of Miami, Okla., and Allen Donnell and wife Dawn of Glenpool, Okla. One daughter Kim Rittenhouse and husband Art of Northport, Ala., one brother Jack Donnell of Miami, Okla., and two sisters Margret Journagen of Miami, Okla., and Christine Collins and husband Don of Vinita. He is survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.


      Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Okla. Rev. Raymond Frizzelle will officiate. Interment will be at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Randy Donnell, Curt Donnell, Allen Donnell, Eric Donnell, Zach Donnell and Cory Gray. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kim and Art Rittenhouse. Services are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Oklahoma. Online condolences can be made at www.paulthomasfuneralhomes.com.
