Audrey Ann Skinner and Kevin Ray Hughes, both of Cope, were united in marriage on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Orange-burg.The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Wheeler Skinner of Moncks Corner and the niece of Mrs. Maizie B. Antley of Columbia and the late Mr. Melvin Antley. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bryant of St. George and the late Mrs. Lillian Skinner of Moncks Corner.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Ray Hughes of Orangeburg. He is the grandson of Mrs. Mattie Mae Pooser of Orangeburg and the late Mr. Laurie Pooser and the late Mrs. Blanche Hughes and the late Mr. Sidney Everhart of Cope.Rev. Terry Peele officiated the ceremony.The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Randy Skinner of Cope.Matron of honor was Frances Walling of Cope, friend of the bride and groom.Bridesmaids were Melissa Hughes of Orangeburg, sister of the groom and Deidra Pooser of Orangeburg, cousin of the groom.The groom?s father served as best man.Groomsmen were Mark Walling of Cordova, friend of the bride and groom and Chris Pooser of Orangeburg, cousin of the groom.Ushers were Curtis Wanna-maker of Orangeburg, and Heath Johnson of Orangeburg, friends of the bride and groom.Ring bearer was Mark Walling, Jr., of Cordova, friend of the bride and groom.Flower girl was Haley Arends of Orangeburg, niece of the groom.Following the ceremony a reception was held at the couple?s residence.After a wedding cruise to the Bahamas the couple will reside in Cope.Mrs. Hughes is a 1985 grad-uate of Edisto High School. She is the Administrative Secretary at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.Mr. Hughes is a 1991 grad-uate of Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School. He is a Machinist at Zeus Industrial.
