      Galivants Ferry Mrs. Marguerite Wideman Altman, 72, were held Tuesday in Aynor United Methodist Church with burial in Zion Cemetery.

      Mrs. Altman, wife of Purdy David Altman, died Sunday morning in a Raleigh Nursing Home following a long illness.

      Born in McCormick County she was a daughter of the late John and Sally McDaniel Wideman. She was a member of the Aynor United Methodist Church and its Missionary Society. Mrs. Altman was a retired librarian.

      Surviving are her husband of Galivants Ferry; two sons J. Richard Altman of Raleigh NC, and R. Donald Altman of Clio; a brother Rudy Wideman of Gainsville Fla; two sisters Nell White of St. Petersburg Fla, and Mrs. Robbie Kirk of Yazoo City Miss; five grandchildren.

      Goldfinch Funeral Hone was in charge.
