He was the son of Leonard Henry Sandefur and Sarah Jane McDaniel. He married Emma Dale Boley at Weatherford, Parker County, Texas, on 19 August 1900.2 Theodore died on 21 January 1964 at Davidson, Tillman County, Oklahoma, at age 88.
