Benjamin FrankLin Kittrell , 94, passed peacefully at the Care Center of Ormond Beach on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007. Services will be held graveside today (Friday) at 10 a.m. at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach. Mr. Kittrell was born in Holly Hill and was one of 13 children. He lived in South Carolina for some time and moved back to Florida in 1967 from Greer, S.C. He was a minister for many years in South Carolina and Florida and was the founder of the Calvary Association of God in 1967, now the Christian Calvary Center in Ormond Beach. He loved to preach and spend time with his family more than anything else. Mr. Kittrell is predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years, Mamie; his parents and his siblings: Hubert, Harvey, Valerie, Margie, Tom, Ike, Sandy, Jim, Kathryn, Mary, and Cleo. He is survived by his son, Marvin F. Kittrell , Columbia, S.C.; grandchildren, Erika and Marvin (Benjamin) Kittrell Jr., South Carolina; and nephew, Stephen Davis, Orlando. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to Hospice Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach.

I would love to talk with you some. You do know that my parents are Benjamin and Mamie Kittrell. Jim Kittrell was an older brother of my dad. Dad and mom are still living in Holly Hill, Fla.
