Wanneer Jurrien Klaassens de Boer in 1843 overlijdt verkoopt men de boerderij aan Sieger Jeltes Bulthuis en zijn vrouw Grietje Lammerts Ellens.
In 1875 worden de zoons van dit echtpaar, Lammert, Jelte en Eldert Jans Bulthuis, ieder voor een derde deel eigenaar van de boerderij, die dan ruim 34 hectare groot is. Na 1880 bewonen Jelte Bulthuis en Ailina Westerdijk de boederij, totdat de gebroeders Bulthuis in augustus 1891 het geheel verkopen aan Jacob Ennes Hekma en Geertruid Wierda, die te Leens wonen.
