1C5R from Jacob Doedens (1739 - 1780) and Johanna Tuzee (1736 - 1816)
Woonde als Timmerman (Carpenter) aan de oostzijde van het Schuitendiep te Groningen,bij de Sint Jansbrug. Zijn eerste echtgenote, Johanna Krook, was eendochter van de scheepskapitein Abraham Pieters Krook, die in 1815 isuitgevaren naar Cuba en van deze reis nimmer is teruggekeerd (debestemming van deze reis is bekend dankzij een acte in het archief vannotaris Mr. G.J.Keizer te Groningen, 11 dec 1815, acte nr 782). Haarmoeder was al eerder,in 1811, overleden. Johanna Krrok is daaromopgevoed door haar grootmoeder Hinderkien Abrahams Bakker (Baker), met wie zijin 1830 in het Pelstergasthuis woonde. Tussen 1870 en 1880 verhuisdeJohannes Doedens met zijn derde echtgenote naar hetzelfde gasthuis. Hijoverleed in 1882 in een ziekenhuis in Utrecht.

De nalatenschap bestond, naast het huisraad, uit eenaantal obligaties en aandelen in de Russische Spoorwegen ter waarde vanf2000,-. Bij testament van 5 juni 1862 had hij zijn echtgenote, AnnaMargaretha Haumersen, het vruchtgebruik van zijn nalatenschapgelegateerd.
