1770 : Born in Stepney, Middlesex, England on 31 Jul 1770 (according to the inscription on the Eaton Family Vault at Richmond).
1770 : Baptised in Christ Church, Spitalfield, Middlesex, England.
1792 : On 2 Nov 1792 Jane was involved in an incident in which a gentleman, William Ellis, had been assaulted and robbed of a watch and money. Soon afterwards Jane was arrested along with five others and in December was found guilty and sentenced to be hanged.
1793 : Sentence respited to transportation for life.
1794 : Arrived in Australia, Port Jackson, on the GÅ ??????SurpriseGÅ ??????à?????????????/ on 25 Oct 1794. Sailed from Cork on 2 May 1794. Upon arrival in Sydney, Jane commenced living in a de facto relationship with a convict William Bryant.
1796 : Jane Charlotte BRYANT born.
