Notes about Adriaan van Oosterhout

Achternaam wordt ook geschreven als Van Oosterhoudt. Uit de overlijdensakte van hun zoon Petrus (Pieter) in 1781 blijkt dat Adriaan en Johanna wonen in het buurtschap Noordhoek bij Standdaarbuiten. Bij het overlijden van Adriaan zelf woont het gezin, volgens de akte "aan den Kerkdeik".

Er is geen geboorteakte gevonden van Adriaan, maar de naamgeving van zijn eigen kinderen 'verraadt' zijn afkomst. Zijn oudste zoon noemt hij Petrus (Pieter), en dat gebeurde doorgaans naar de opa van vaderszijde. Er is in de betreffende periode maar één Pieter/Petrus van Oosterhout, die in 1732 trouwt met Johanna van Dongen. Dat zijn dus zeer waarschijnlijk de ouders van Adriaan.
