Kiske Eijsermans was een rustige man, meestal te zien met zijn petje op en pijprokend. Zijn vrouw was een vinnig vrouwtje dat steeds aan het woord was.
Cornelis Eijsermans woonde in Goirle in de Kalverstraat (naast het bondsgebouw). Hij was linnenwever en al 37 jaar oud als hij in het huwelijk treedt met de 39-jarige mutsenwaster Johanna Maria Helena Snels, dochter van Johannes Cornelis Snels en Wilhelmina Spijkers. Er was geen testament en het echtpaar was kinderloos en daarom werd Cornelis Eijsermans enige erfgenaam van zijn vrouw. De laatste jaren van zijn leven woonde Kees Eijsermans bij de familie van der Burgt-Spapens in de Tinelstraat in Eindhoven en daar overleed hij op 27 oktober 1962 zonder testament gemaakt te hebben. Daarom moesten zijn erfgenamen (allen afstammelingen van zijn vader Hendrik Eijsermans, en dat waren er 54) samen 1.960,20 gulden delen, het saldo dat overbleef na aftrek van de kosten van de begrafenis en het kostgeld over de maand oktober 1962 voor mevrouw van der Burgt-Spapens. Met de afhandeling van de zaak werd notaris Claessens in Eindhoven belast.
