CASEMBROOT (Jean Louis de), Heer van Willige Langerak, zoon van Leonard de Casembroot, Heer van Rijnesteyn, Ter Moer en Willige Langerak, en van Hillegonda Geertruid van Bergen, geboren den 26sten Februarij 1709 te Utrecht, waar zijn vader Vroedschap en Schepen was, werd den 4den April 1729 Vaandrig in het Infanterie regiment de Guy; den 31sten Mei 1734 Kapitein in het Regiment van Pallandt; den 4den Junij 1738 Majoor in het zelfde Regiment; den 19den September 1742 Luitenant-Kolonel van het Regiment de Guy; den 28sten November 1747 Kolonel bij het Regiment Infanterie van Maleprade, en woonde als zoodanig den veldtogt tegen de Franschen in Staats-Vlaanderen, in 1747 en 1748, bij, waarin hij zich bij verschillende gelegenheden onderscheidde. Voorts werd hij den 14den Maart 1766 tot Generaal-Majoor en den 24sten Augustus 1772 tot Luitenant-Generaal Kommandeur van Yperen aangesteld.
    Hij had bij zijne vrouw Anna Constantia Margaretha Cau, vijf kinderen verwekt.
