Notes about Arend Tolner

In 1778 wordt een rechtszaak gevoerd over het onderhoud van de Gastersche brug in de Toldijk. Volgens gegevens uit die rechtszaak wordt in 1693 octrooi verleend voor de tolheffing bij de brug aan Remmelt Arents, mits ook het onderhoud wordt uitgevoerd, nadat de Landschap de brug eerst weer in goede staat brengt. In 1725 wordt het octrooi voor de tolheffing verlengd en overgedragen aan Aaltien Arents en haar zoon Arent Clasen. In 1751 verkoopt Arent Clasen het huis. De rechtszaak gaat tegen de nieuwe eigenaar en de gebruiker.
N.B. Haardstedenregister 1693: Aeltien Tollenaarsche, 1692: Aerent Tollenaer, in 1691 op dezelfde plaats: Arent Frericks.
