In 1746 maakt Geertien Jansen, weduwe van Arent Besuide haar inventaris op, vermoedelijk vanwege het overlijden van haar echtgenoot. Zij wordt vermeld als de stiefgrootmoeder van Arend Hendriks Besuide. Er zijn ook goederen mandelig met Geert Bour.
Geert Bour assisteert in 1745 in Vries zijn schoonmoeder Geertien Jansen, weduwe van Arent Besuide van Yde bij een geldlening, waarbij Geert Bour tekent als Geert Jansen
