    Notes about Halbe Hindricks

    (Research):Halbe Hindricks is de oudst bekende stamvader van alle Schripsema's. Zijnouders zijn tot nu toe onvindbaar. Hij vertrok rond 1722 uit Noordhorn enwoonde sindsdien onder het Caspel Lutkegast, waar hij met 42 grazen landeigenerfde werd op de boerderij "Ooster Froma" in de Eijbersburen.Daardoor kon hij tweeëntwintig jaar (1727-1749) verschijnen alsLanddagcomparant (vertegenwoordiger op de Landdagen van GedeputeerdeStaten van Stad en Ommeland) voor Lutjegast. Op 30-12-1726 werd hij daar ingeschreven als diaken en op 26-12-1730 alsouderling. In 1736 was hij dat nog steeds of nogmaals. Ooster Froma ligt in de Besheerspolder, ten westen van Sappemaheerd enten westen van Ooster Froma ligt de 14e eeuwse Wattemaheerd ofWattemastede waarvan zijn kleinzoon Jan Sipkes Wattema later de eigenaarwerd. Landdagcomparant (1727-1749) Halbe Hindrix bewijst hiermee in 1726 dat hij als eigenerfde genoeg landen de boerderij "Ooster Froma" bezit om Landdagcomparant voor Lutjegastte worden. (zie acte)
