    MBS. ELLA MENNING
    Mrs. Ella Menning, 88, of Orange City,died Thursday in the Orange City Municipal Hospital. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Trinity Reformed Church. The Rev. Donald R. Lenderink officiated. Burial was in Newkirk Cemetery at Newkirk. Family visitation was from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Van Gelder Funeral Home at Orange City.

    Mrs. Menning, the former Ella Mous, was born Feb. 18,1896, in Matlock. She married Ralph Menning Dec. 14, 1922, in Newkirk. They farmed south of Newkirk. He died Sept. 29,1945. She moved to Orange City April 20, 1981. She entered the George Community Good Samaritan Center. She was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church and its Ladies Aid.

    Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Peter (Geraldine) Aberson of Alton, and Wilmer (Rosella) Jiskoot of George; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
