    Mrs. Peter Mouw, nee Nellie Van Dyke, was born in the Netherlands, February 3, 1879. She passed away August 4, 1955, at the age of 76 years.

    She was united in marriage to Peter Mouw of Hospers on February 14, 1900.

    To this union two children were adopted, Andrew Mouw of Sibley, Iowa, and Beverly, Mrs. John Snip of Archer, Iowa.

    Mrs. Mouw was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mrs. Tunis Jansma, one brother, Mr. Dick Van Dyke and one grandchild, Mary Ann Snip.

    She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, her daughter Beverly and son Andrew, also four grandchildren and three brothers and two sisters.

    Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 6, at the First Reformed Church of Sheldon at 1:30 with Rev. M. A. Stegeman officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Co-op Burial Ass'n. of Sioux Center and interment was in the Hospers cemetery.
