    Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) in the Alto Reformed church, for Andrew Mouw, 66, who died Monday evening, June 18, in the Waupun Memorial hospital.
    Mr. Mouw was born March 2, 1890, in Alton, Iowa. He moved to Alto with his parents when he was eight. Mr. Mouw married Hattie Vant Hoff September 28, 1910, and they spent the next 35 years farming near Alto. In 1945 he retired from farming and moved to Waupun where he lived for 10 years. The couple returned to Alto in 1955. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Garrit Kamphuis, and a son, Warren, both of Alto. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Percy Sherwood and Mrs. Arthur Pluim. Two brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted in the Mouw home at Alto Thursday at 1:30 and will be followed by the church services. The Rev. H. B. Poppen and the Rev. J. C. Van Wyk, Oskaloosa, Iowa, former pastor at the Alto Reformed church will be in charge of the service. Burial will be in the Alto cemetery.

    Funeral services for Andrew Mouw were held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the residence in the village of Alto, and at 2 p.m. in the Alto Reformed church. The Rev. Henry B. Poppen officated, assisted by the Rev. J. C. Van Wyk, Oskaloosa, Iowa. Special music was sung by a male quartet with Mrs. Arnold Westerveld at the organ. Pallbearers were Bert G. Vande Zande, George Vande Kamp, Arnold Pluim, Milton Hopp, Winnard Vant Hoff, and Wesly Westhuis. Mr. Mouw died Monday evening June 19, following a long illness.
