In memoriam – Mevrouw A. van der Luit-Vlijm
Op 12 april 2013 is overleden Annetje van der Luit-Vlijm. Zij is 87 jaar geworden. Op 18 april hebben wij afscheid van haar genomen in een dienst van Woord en gebed in de aula van begraafplaats Rosenburgh (Voorschoten). Annetje van der Luit was weduwe van Gerrit van der Luit, al sinds 1987. Samen kregen ze op latere leeftijd nog een zoon waar ze dolgelukkig mee waren. Mevrouw Van der Luit was een optimistische, opgewekte vrouw en liet zich ondanks het vroege overlijden van haar man niet uit het veld slaan. Ze had humor en
relativeringsvermogen. An van der Luit is rustig heengegaan. ‘In Uw handen’ staat er bovenaan de rouwbrief. Zij werd uit het leven geroepen, door God, daar was ze zeker van en zo heeft zij zichzelf dankbaar voor haar mooie leven overgegeven in Zijn handen. Graag wilde zij dat haar uitvaart de dankbaarheid voor het leven zou onderstrepen, geen zwaarmoedigheid. En op die wijze hebben de geliefden om haar heen haar uit handen gegeven en haar in de handen van de Eeuwige God gelegd, op wie zij zo sterk in haar leven bouwde en op wie zij tot het einde toe vertrouwde.
