    Mrs. Gerrit Beltman, 77, Hospers, died August 2 at a Sheldon Hospital. Services were at 10:30 a.m. August 5 in the Christian Reformed Church at Hospers. The Rev. Peter DeHaan officiated. Burial was in Hospers Cemetery under the direction of the Andringa Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Beltman, the former Tillie Evink, was born July 6, 1899 at Oldebroek, the Netherlands. She came to America in 1920. She was married in December of 1922 at Middleburg, Iowa. They farmed in northwest Iowa until they retired in 1970. The couple then moved to Hospers. She was a member of the Christian Reformed Church.

    Survivors include the widower; two daughters, MRs. Harry (Wilma) Bootsma of Sibley, and Mrs. Gary (Alice) Wiersma of Hospers; four sons, Tony of Chino, California, James and William of Granville, and Elmer of Sibley, 23 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
