Ze werd ook wel de koningin van Scheba genoemd. Statige vrouw die boven haar stand is getrouwd met Willem Jansz Tensen, veeboer. Echter 2 dagen voor de bruiloft werden er huwelijks voorwaarden gemaakt voor notaris Cornelis Pool te Grootebroek. Geertje deelt slechts "in verlies en winst van het boerenbedrijf". Zij bracht als arbeidersdochter slechts haar eigen kleren en "versierselen" in (geschatte waarde f 150.-). Na het huwelijk was zij echter de boerin; zo gedroeg en kleedde ze zich ook. Zondag naar de kerk met "kap en dek" (zie foto).
