After the age of 46, Gerrit married (2) Geesken Smijlink (died after 1841) after 1808. He married (1), at the age of 32, on 11-01-1795 the 27-year-old Johanna Memelink, born in Toldijk, gem. Steenderen (Gld). She was baptised on 18-10-1767 in Steenderen (Gld). Johanna died on 30-06-1808 in Hummelo (Gld), aged 40. Gerrit and Johanna registered on 26-12-1794 in Hoogkeppel (Gld) their intention to marry.

I. Johanna Lucassen, born on 17-04-1795 in Hummelo (Gld). Johanna died on 26-09-1825 in Hummelo (Gld), aged 30.
II. Gerrit Jan Lucassen, born on 04-03-1798. Gerrit died on 18-04-1834 in Ambt Doetinchem, aged 36. The decease was registered on 19-04-1834. Gerrit married Aaltjen Janssen.
III. Catharina Megchelina Lucassen, born on 08-08-1801 in Hummelo (Gld). Catharina died. At the age of 34, Catharina married Arend Hutink, aged about 50, on 11-05-1836 in Doesburg. Arend was born around 1786 in Spankeren, son of Hendrik Hutink and Harmijna Wijers. Arend died.
