    Wilhelmina M. Pierson (VanAsselt), aged 89, of Wyoming, MI, died January 31, 1997 at Blodgett Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Pierson, Sr. Surviving are her son, Fred W. (June) Pierson, Jr. of Wyoming,. Ml; and daughter, Shirley J. Weidenfeller of Grandville, MI; three grandchildren; Raymond (Faye) Weidenfeller, Val (Michelle) Pierson and Amy (Paul) Simmons; five great grandchildren, Kristina and Brandon Weidenfeller, Paul and Noah Pierson and David Simmons; brother-in-law, Stanley Pierson of Rockford, MI; a special niece, Lela Heintzelman and nephew, Howard Blank Sr.; and a very special friend, Josephine Klas. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 1:00 PM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie SW. Visitation will be held Monday 7to9 PM at the Grandville Chapel of the Cook Funeral Home (West Building). Obit prepared by Cook Grandville Chapel.
