ADA MCKEITHAN EDWARDS
Ada McKeithan Edwards,85 of Ash,NC died Sundat,May 26,2002 in the New
Hanover Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. McKeithan was born in Brunswick County on December 11, 1917 and
was the daughter of the late Jasper and Charity Caison McKeithan.
Funreal services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 28,2002 at 11:00 AM
from the New Life Baptist Church, Exum by the Rev. Clayton Rivenbark.
Burial will be in the Edwards Family Cemetery, Exum.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by a son, Nathan Edwards and wife
Doris(Note-she is the daughter of Early & Ida Little Little) and a
daughter, Linda E. Hewett and husband Jan, all of Exum, NC; two
grandchildern, Wayne Edwards(Note-his full name is Nuley Wayne) and
Leslie Hewett Drennan; three sisters, Etta Little of Ash, Lois McKeithan
and Janet Hughes, both of Bladenboro,NC; 6 great-grandchildern(Note-4
belong to Wayne & his wife Thea Barefoot-Jessica Lynn, Samatha Noelle,
Leanna Hope and Deanna Justine).
The family will receive friends from the residence of the daughter, at
3832 Exum Rd, NW, Ash, on the corner of Exum and Big Neck Road.
