Bertha S. Hewett

Bertha Stanley Hewett, 73, of Goose Creek Road SW, died Friday, Nov. 24,2000, at Brunswick Community Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Loucretia McKeithanStanley. She was the widow of Luther Thomas Hewett Jr.

Survivors include a brother, *Clyde Hewett and his wife, Gladys, of OceanIsle Beach; and two nieces, Sharon Owens and Greta Galloway.

She was predeceased by a son, Glynn Hewett.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Brunswick Service andCrematory in Shallotte, N.C.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jennies Branch Baptist Church.The Rev. Jesse Bentley and the Rev. Garrett Hays will officiate. Burialwill be in the church cemetery.
