OLD DOCK - Pearlie Mae Etheridge Gore, 67, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001 atColumbus County Hospital.
She was employed as a Nurse's Assistant II at Columbus County Hospital,was a member of Nakina VFW Post #6066 Ladies Auxiliary, and a member ofOld Dock/Cypress Creek Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
Final rites will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. at Old DockUnited Methodist Church by the Rev. Carroll Fitzgerald. Interment will bein the Old Dock United Methodist Church Cemetery. McKenzie Mortuary ishandling the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest L. Gore; three daughters: VivianBennett of Hickman's Crossroad, Lisa Zima and Kelly Gore, both of OldDock; one son: Geno Gore of Old Dock; and one sister: Annie Laura Simmonsof Wilmington; one brother: Hubert Etheridge of Whiteville; and ninegrandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 7-9 p.m. at McKenzie Mortuary.
