Mary P. Stanaland, 94, Ash/Little River Road NW, died Wednesday, July 17,2002, in the Brunswick Community Hospital.

Mrs. Stanaland was born on December 19, 1907, in Brunswick County, NC.She was a daughter of the late George and Corrine Gore Parker. She was amember of the Philadelphia Wesleyn Church, Ash, NC. She was predeceasedby her husband, William Ernest Stanaland in 1987.

Mrs. Stanaland is survived by one daughter, Lina Angstadt, and husband,Gene, Calabash, NC; three sons, Parker Stanaland, and wife, Mary, Ash,NC, Jerry Deon Stanaland, and wife, Sherry, N. Myrtle Beach, SC, andWilliam Albert "Bill" Stanaland, and wife, Margaret, Louisville, AL; tengrandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20thin the Brunswick Funeral
Service Chapel by the Rev. Jim Mezick. Burial will follow in theBrunswick Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be the grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 10 - 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeralhome.

Family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to a charity of one'schoice.

ASH, N.C. - Mary P. Stanaland, 94, of Ash/Little River Road Northwest,died Wednesday, July 17, 2002, at Brunswick Community Hospital.

She was born Dec. 19, 1907, in Brunswick County, N.C., a daughter of thelate George and Corrine Gore Parker. She was predeceased by her husband,William Ernest Stanaland, in 1987.

She was a member of the Philadelphia Wesleyn Church, Ash.

Survivors include a daughter, Lina Angstadt, and her husband, Gene, ofCalabash, N.C.; three sons, Parker Stanaland, and his wife, Mary, of Ash,Jerry Deon Stanaland, and his wife, Sherry, of North Myrtle Beach andWilliam Albert "Bill" Stanaland, and his wife, Margaret, of Louisville,Ala.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Brunswick FuneralService and Crematory, Shallotte.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. JimMezick will officiate. Burial will be in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.

The grandchildren will be casket bearers.

Memorials may be made to any charity.
