    Kittrell 50th Anniversary


    Delton & Norma (Evans) Kittrell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 2, 2006. The Kittrell’s celebrated their anniversary at the Cracker Barrel in Waco. Delton & Norma were married on December 2, 1956 at the First Baptist Church, Hearne, Texas. Pastor Buford Harrell officiated.

    They have three children, Delton Kittrell Jr. & wife Guiomar, Roger Kittrell & wife Sandra, and Teresa Beckham and husband Curtis. They also have eight grandchildren, Jack Komar, Matthew Kittrell, Miranda Komar, Shiana Kittrell, Shelby Kittrell, Allen Beckham, Evan Kittrell and Lainey Kittrell. They are also the proud great-grandparents of three great-grandchildren, Destiny Komar, Gabriel Komar and Haley Bean.

    Delton Allen Kittrell, 79, of Hearne, passed away on January 21, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 23, at First Baptist Church in Hearne. Interment will follow at Norwood Cemetery in Hearne.

    Delton graduated from Leedesville Mississippi High School in 1950 and from Texas A&M University in 1954. He served in the US Army and the Army Reserve. Delton retired from Texas Department of Transportation as Assistant District Engineer.

    He was preceded in death by his brothers, Seba and Nesbitt Kittrell.

    Delton is survived by his wife, Norma Evans Kittrell; his sons and daughters-in-law, Delton Kittrell Jr. and Guiomar and Roger Kittrell and Sandra; his daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Curtis Beckham; grandchildren, Jack, Matthew, Miranda, Shiana, Shelby, Allen, Evan and Lainey; his great-grandchildren, Destiny, Gabriel, Haley, Heath and Zander.

    The family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church 105 Davis Hearne, Tx 77859. Arrangements are entrusted to Heartfield-RitterFuneral Home Hearne, Tx.
