LORIS (SC) - Delta SPIVEY BOYD, 81, of the Lawndale community, died Friday,
Oct. 29, 1999, at Loris Extended Care Facility after an illness.

She was born in Horry County (SC) on Feb. 26, 1918, a daughter of the late
Macon Archie SPIVEY and Lola SOLES SPIVEY.

She was the widow of Benjamin F. BOYD.

She was a homemaker and an avid private Bingo player and attended all ofthe
Primitive Baptist churches in the Mill Branch Association.

Survivors include a son, Jerry W. BOYD and his wife, Brenda, of Loris; a
daughter, Carolyn B. GRAINGER and her husband, Dennis, of Chadbourn, NC, a
sister, Thelma PRINCE of Loris, six grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Hardwick Funeral Home. Thefuneral
will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hardwick Memorial Chapel.

Burial will be in Twin City Memorial Gardens (Loris, Horry County, SC).
