Per Susan Hunter ((XXXXX@XXXX.XXX)) in a message of 20 May 2002:
"I saw on Ancestry's message board that Joel Reaves, in 1835, was a witness to the division of property for one of the Galloways. I haven't been able yet to figure out just which Galloway it was as the names are repeated (there's more than one Cornelius, Alfred, etc), but it's a connection just the same. 1835 fits into about the time Joel and Sarah married, so I'm assuming they were already married by Sept when he witnessed this division of property".
