It is not proven this John Milligan is the son of Moses Milligan, but it does seem likely that he is.. however, he seemed to have stayed with brother Moses Milligan in Horry County, SC.

It is not know exactly were James was born, Horry County, South Carolina ;Brunswick or Columbus County, North Carolina. The Milligan's travelled and lived in these three counties.

Will in Charleston Vol.28 pg 252 1800-1809. He lives in SC per census and deeds by Moses Jr.
