Dietrich I (Tidericus; born circa. 1118; died 9 February 1185) was the Margrave of Lusatia (Orientalis marchio) from 1156 until his death. He was the second surviving son of Conrad, Margrave of Meissen and Lusatia, and he inherited the latter territory (and Eilenburg) while his elder brother Otto inherited Meissen.
He married Dobronega Ludgarda, daughter of Boleslaus Wrymouth of Poland. She gave him a son, who predeceased him, and a daughter, who became a nun. His illegitimate son Dietrich, by a mistress named Cunigund, was legitimated on 12 May 1203 and became the Bishop of Merseburg in 1204.
Dietrich died at Petersberg and was buried there. His margraviate passed to his brother on his death.
