He [David of Strathbogie] married Joan, sister and coheir of John COMYN,of Badenoch (who fell at Bannockburn 24 June 1314), daughter of JohnCOMYN, of Badenoch (stabbed by Bruce in February 1305/6, by Joan,daughter of William DE VALENCE, sometimes styled EARL OF PEMBROKE.
