Maud, allegedly daughter of Sir Ralph Basset, of Drayton, Staffs.[Burke's Peerage]

Note: Burke's does not say which Ralph. Before I had a source, Ioriginally had John & Maud b c1258 and Maud a daughter of Ralph &Margaret Somery, but since John is b. c1268 and Maud is his 2nd wife, sheis more likely to be daughter of the next generation, Ralph & Hawise deGrey. The older Ralph died in 1265 (aged 50), so Maud could not havebeen born later than 1266 and still be his daughter.
