    Delmer Dye, age 71, of Somerset, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 25, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.Born May 31, 1921 in the Hopeful community, he was the son of the late George and Viola Gossett Dye.Survivors include his wife Marcie Roy Dye, two daughters, Diann Pierce of Somerset and Charlotte Neeley of Cincinnati, two sisters, Gertrude Cooper of Nancy and Flossie Trimmer of Decatur, Illinois, and three grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Marion and Denney Dye, four sisters, Nina Loveless, Ella Dye, Martha Floyd and an infant sister and two granddaughters, Stephanie and Krista Pierce.He was a retired mechanic, farmer, Air Force veteran of WWII and a member of Saline Baptist Church.Funeral services were conducted Friday, November 27 in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev, Eugene Tarter and Elder S.L. Sears officiating. Burial was in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.Pulaski Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.Obituary from the Pulaski County, Kentucky Historical Society.     Delmer Dye, age 71, of Somerset, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 25, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.

    Born May 31, 1921 in the Hopeful community, he was the son of the late George and Viola Gossett Dye.
