    KITTRELL, Dr. Frederick J.Age 80, of Murfreesboro, TN, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. He was born in Hohenwald, TN and was the son of the late William L. & Ellen Craig Kittrell. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Anne Black Kittrell; daughter, Linda K. Poteet and her husband Dale of Pegram, TN; three sons, Richard L. Kittrell and his wife, Cindy of Murfreesboro, Douglas W. Kittrell and his wife, Camille of Roswell, GA and Dan Frederick Kittrell of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Laura Lease (Joe) , Emily and Brian Kittrell, Katie Seifert (Stephen), Hope Perry (Andrew), Benjamin Poteet (Kristin), Zechariah Poteet (Jessica), Grace Donoho (Jay), Rebekah Poteet, Joshua Poteet, Caleb Poteet and Peter Poteet; great grandchildren, Jonathan, Adam Lease; Elijah and Ellen Seifert; Abigail, Eileen, Paul, Heidi, Kristina and Simeon Perry, Mason Beth Poteet; Braxton, Jackson, Audrey, and Julia Poteet; nieces and nephews, and beloved cousin, Mary Jo Beasley. Dr. Kittrell was preceded in death by a brother, William B. Kittrell and a sister, Martha Louise Saulnier. Funeral services 11 a.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Jim Bryant officiating. Visitation with the family 3-7 p.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services 3 p.m. Tuesday at Swiss Cemetery in Hohenwald with grandsons serving as Pallbearers. Dr. Kittrell was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of North Blvd. Church of Christ and Professor Emeritus in the Finance and Economics Dept. at Middle Tennessee State University previously in Business and Bible at David Lipscomb University and Freed Hardeman College, a retired Church of Christ Minister, former Chevrolet Dealer in Hohenwald, and active in many civic organizations and he especially loved family genealogy. He was a graduate of David Lipscomb College, University of Mississippi and General Motors Institute.
