    Mrs. Brenda Faye Jordan Kittrell, age 73, and a current resident of Carthage, passed away on Saturday, January 01, 2022 at Carthage Senior Care.

    She was a native of Union, born to Hollis Milton and Exie V. Wilkerson Jordan on June 10, 1948. A homemaker, Mrs. Kittrell will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. As echoed by her family, she was “the best Mama ever.” She lived a life exemplifying the word, contentment, in whatever state she was. She was one who was an encourager, who always offered a listening ear, an inspiration to many, and an “angel here on Earth.” She was a Christian and a member of Lena Baptist Church.

    She is preceded in death by her husband: Billy Lee Kittrell; her parents: Hollis and Exie Jordan; one infant brother; two sisters: Marie Jordan Myers and Carolyn Jordan Gibbs and one sister-in-law: Betty Hollingsworth Jordan.

    Survivors include her children: Becky (Tommy) Harrell of Forest; Michael (Sylvia) Kittrell of Carthage and Billy Mack (Amanda) Kittrell of Kosciusko; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; two brothers: Wayne (Geraldine) Jordan of Forest and Milton (Pat) Jordan of Lawrence; one brother-in-law: David Gibbs of Lake; and a host of nieces and nephews.
