    Son of Johannes (John) and Betty (Eriksdotter) Lidstrom, Jonas (John) Lidstrom emigrated with his family from Sweden in 1892, settling in Nordland Twp., Aitkin Co., Minnesota. His primary occupation was working in the iron mines of Wisconsin and then Minnesota; in addition he farmed in the Crosby/Ironton area.

    John was survived by his wife, Hilma, and six children: Gerald, Evelyn, Kermit, Sheldon, Audrey, Warren.

    John accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior, and was confidant he would spend eternity with Him.

    John died at his home in Irondale Twp.
