    Obituary For Glenda Cooke TateNovember 23, 1946 - March 27, 2013Glenda Cooke Tate, 66, formerly of Oak Street in Eden, passed away Wednesday evening, March 27, 2013, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 30, in Overlook Cemetery.A native of Rockingham County, NC, Ms. Tate was born November 23, 1946 to the late Edward Glenn and Louise Glasgow Cooke. She was a freelance writer for various newspapers and magazines during her career.She is survived by her husband, Keith Johnson of Eden; daughter, Teddi Carr and husband, Jonathan of Greensboro; and three grandchildren, Charlotte, Stratton and Harrison. The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home.Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.fairfuneralhome.com
