    Ronald, beloved husband of Mildred Higgins (nee Rapp), devoted father of Amy R (Dan) Morton, Lori A (Jim) Griffin, Jason M and Tara N Higgins, grandfather of Brandon. Lifetime resident of St.Bernard, Thursday, August 15, 1996, age 51. Friends may call at the Imwalle Memorial, 4811 Vine St., St.Bernard, Friday from 6-8 pm. Funeral services Saturday at 11 am. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

    Ronald Higgins died Thursaday of heart failure at Good Saaritan Hospital. He was 51.
    A life resident of St.Bernard, he was a graduate of St.Bernard-Elmwood Place High School.
    He was a captain of the St.Bernard Fire Department for almost 24 years.
    Survivors include his wife of 31 years Mildred Higgins; three daughters, Amy R Morton of Dry Ridge, Ky., Lori A Griffin of Covedale and Tara n Higgins of St.Bernard; a son, Jason M Higgins of St.Bernard; and a grandson.
    Graveside services will be held 1 pm Sunday at Bethelridge Cemetery on Route 1 in Casey County, Ky. (bio by: Ruth Higgins)
