    Ira Adams, 78, Route 2, Eubank, died Saturday, April 28, after an illness of several months.

    The son of the late Henry Clay and Peggy Ann Trowbridge Adams, he was born in Lincoln County April 7, 1884.

    He was married to Miss Julia Robinson and to this union seven children were born.

    Mr. Adams lived at Eubank all his life and served as Postmaster at Eubank from 1929 to 1933. He was a retired government employee and a member of the Church of Christ, which he attended as long as his health permitted.

    Survivors include his wife, two sons, M. C. Adams, Eubank, Edwin Adams, Houston, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Iona Griffin, Eubank, Mrs. Anna Mae Baca, Sacramento, California, and Mrs. Velma Garstick, Flint, Michigan; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, April 30, at Eubank Church of Christ at 2 p.m. with Brother Charles Brown and Brother Thaddeus Eubank officiating. Burial was in the Eubank Cemetery.


    Other children of Ira and Julia Robinson Adams were Irene Adams, Lloyd Otis Adams, Anna Mae Adams Baca, 1917-2006, of Sacramento, CA, Velma J. Adams Garsteck, 1922-1984 Genessee, MI, and Edwin Ray Adams.
