Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of March 9, 2009, Mary Bessinger Barrineau, widow of Leroy F. Barrineau. Residence, Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends of Mary Bessinger Barrineau are invited to attend her memorial service Friday, March 13, 2009 at two o'clock at J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Mary was born on May 23, 1925 in Govan, SC, the daughter of Joe Willie Bessinger and Nora Dyches Bessinger. She was a buyer in the retail industry, and a former member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Mission, as well as the Wappoo Wigglers and James Island Wheelers. She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Rory Barrineau of James Island, SC; brother, George Lee Bessinger of Columbia, SC; granddaughter, Kimmy Coleman and her husband, David of James Island, SC; grandson, Jamie Kittrell, and his fiancé, Mandy Parker of James Island, SC, and her former son-in-law, Jimmy Kittrell of Folly Beach, SC. Memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice Healthcare of Charleston, 5965 Core Rd., Suite 603, North Charleston, SC 29406.
