    Lida Stringer, 81, Somerset, died Wednesday at Somerset City Hospital following a one-week illness.

    She was born in Ferguson on May 16, 1891, the daughter of William and Rachel Owens, both deceased.

    She was married to the late Andrew P. Perkins (sic) at Somerset.

    Survivors include two sons, Plano Stringer of Baitensburg, Md., and Harold Stringer of Somerset; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

    She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.

    Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. E.R. Prather officiating.

    Burial will be in Ringgold Cemetery.
